I specialise in the production of handmade and high-quality wood & epoxy resin products, including bespoke designs and commissions.
All wood is sustainably sourced locally from the New Forest.

About Max
I first forayed into woodworking after moving to the New Forest in 2020. First teaching myself how to use a chop saw, my first project was a simple jewellery box. From there, my passion and skills developed into sourcing the best local materials, incorporating resin into my designs, and expanding my projects to include bespoke tables, coasters, and signage.
Epoxy Resin Creations
After completing the Blacktail Studio’s Epoxy Table Workshop, I now include epoxy resin in my creations, from coasters to tables, with each product being totally unique.
Eco-pledge
Whilst working with wood is a sustainable method, I have also experienced first-hand the effects of deforestation. My business policy includes a percentage of each sale going towards my re-wilding project in the New Forest.
About Max
My journey into woodworking began in 2020, shortly after moving to the New Forest. Armed with curiosity and a newly acquired chop saw, I taught myself the basics—starting with a simple jewellery box. That first project sparked a passion that quickly grew into a full-time craft. Over time, I began sourcing the finest local materials, experimenting with resin, and expanding my creations to include tables, coasters, signage, and more.
Most weekends, you’ll find me at artisanal markets across the UK, sharing my work and connecting with customers who value handmade, bespoke pieces. I also take on custom commissions—each one a collaboration between your vision and my hands.
My love for working with natural materials was shaped by years spent travelling through Australia, where I maintained island campsites, worked in agriculture, and spent countless hours tinkering with cars. That hands-on lifestyle taught me the value of patience, precision, and purpose—qualities I now bring to every piece I make.
Living and working in the New Forest, sustainability is at the heart of my practice. To help offset the timber I use, a portion of every sale goes toward planting trees—giving back to the landscape that inspires so much of my work.
