Homegrown Ash dieback Coffee Table
A truly unique coffee table made from Ash grown in the field next to my workshop. The hole left by the fungus Ash Dieback has been filled with Epoxy Resin and finished using a high quality durable wax finish.
The tree fell down in 2022 years ago due to the Ash dieback.
Ash dieback or Chalara (Hymenoscyphus fraxineus) is a fungus from Asian Ash trees probably imported in on saplings, which causes the native Ash trees to rot from the inside out slowly blocking the trees water transport system causing it to die.
